Welcome to our Equine Department. Drove Veterinary Hospital offers a wide range of equine facilities. Our Equine vet Mr Tim Western (Partner) can offer both experience and modern techniques.
Practice Area
The practice covers an area of approx. 45 mile radius of Swindon although ‘vettings’ (examinations prior to purchase) can be performed much further a field.
Our Services
The majority of our routine work is performed at your stables, or at our Drove Hospital if it is more convenient.
Services Offered:
Routine vaccination. You will receive reminders of vaccination dates and advice on when to be extra vigilent. We advise upon vaccination intervals required for vaccinations to fall within BHS and Jockey Club rules.
FREE Telephone Advice :
Our aim is to further educate owners and promote horse and pony welfare and hence you are welcome to telephone for advice on preventative health care, including details on nutrition, worming, and management
of your horse, pony or yard.
Healthcare Program:
We have a program for annual health checks that includes tooth rasping, a thorough examination, blood sample and faecal worm egg count. |
