Our surgery offers local care for local people and their pets.
The surgery has been established for many years in Lambourn. More recently it was known as Ridgeway Veterinary Surgery owned by Michelle Cresswell. In March 2008, Michelle decided to sell the practice to Drove Veterinary Hospital. This has facilitated extended opening hours and access to more specialist medicine and surgery to the lambourn community.
The surgery offers full operating facilities, with the back up of the main hospital at 252 Croft Road for specialist facilities.
We offer a free registration consultation where we give a detailed examination and preventative health advice after which over the counter products and medicines may be purchased at your convenience. We can offer over 8000 pet acessory products and accessories with next day delivery so please ask us if we can order what you want if we cannot stock it due to space limitation.
We also offer a small Farm and Equine stock room for the convenience of medicine collection of our client with horses or farm animals.
We cover all out of hours problems 365 days a year - the telephone will be answered in person and the duty vet is always a member of the practice - we do not use any deputising services.
If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.
