Moredon Surgery was the first branch surgery of Drove Veterinary Hospital opening in 1984 in Moredon Road. It is an important part of the local community offering help and advice to many local people.
The surgery premises was originally a family home and became a hairdressers in later life, before becoming a Veterinary Surgery. The surgery is situated in the local shopping community, with our own private car park at the rear of the premises.
A full range of facilities are offered at Moredon, with operations and X-rays carried out on the premises, with the back up of the main hospital for emergency care and hospitalisation.
We aim to provide a consistent team of staff - ensuring that you see the same vet, which in turn offers us the chance to build a caring and professional relationship.
We offer a free registration consultation where we give a detailed examination and preventative health advice after which over the counter products and medicines may be purchased at your convenience. We cover all out of hours problems 365 days a year - the telephone will be answered in person and the duty vet is always a member of the practice - we do not use any deputising services. If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.
