We are very sorry to announce that our Pewsey Surgery will be closing at the end of business on 30th June 2010.
We do understand that this closure will inevitability cause some inconvenience to our clients living in the Pewsey area, but we hope that you will not find it too much of a problem to use our other local surgery, situated at 51 London Road, Marlborough. SN8 2AJ, telephone number 01672 512043.
The rationale behind this decision, which has not been an easy one to make, is that it will allow us to focus and concentrate our resources at our Marlborough Surgery, where the facilities include a fully equipped operating theatre, x-ray suite and separate Dog and Cat wards, with ample dedicated parking, something we understand may have presented problems at the Pewsey surgery.
You can be assured that without the travelling time between the 2 surgeries, the existing Vets, Tony Reader, Hannah McNicholas and Helen Redgrave will be providing increased consulting hours at Marlborough. This along with regular Nurse Clinics will offer clients a much greater choice of convenient appointments 5 days a week, morning, afternoon & evenings until 7pm, along with our current Saturday opening time of 9 – 1pm.
Arrangements have been made to ensure that this move is as smooth as possible for you and your pets, with all of their computerised records available at Marlborough, and in fact any of our other branches. If your pet has ongoing treatment, again please be assured that this will not be affected.
The 24 hour emergency service will remain unchanged and with all calls answered personally, you can be 100% certain that the Vet on call will always be a member of Drove Veterinary Hospital.
