Supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals.
Our EMS placements are designed to give veterinary students a clear and practical insight into small animal practice, in a friendly and supportive environment.
You’ll see a wide range of cases and gain a realistic understanding of day to day life in practice, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn.
We welcome applications from all veterinary students.
Placements are available throughout the year, subject to availability, and are usually arranged for one to two weeks at a time.
Why Drove Vets
We’re proud to offer EMS placements that are supportive, welcoming and genuinely educational.
Students choose us because we offer:
- A varied small animal caseload
- A well equipped hospital setting in Swindon
- Supportive vets and nurses who enjoy teaching
- An independent practice with a strong team culture
We value enthusiastic students who are keen to learn and make the most of their time with us.
If you’re interested in applying for EMS placements with us, please get in touch by emailing mail@drovevets.co.uk.
We’re proud to be a teaching practice for the University of Surrey, supporting fourth and fifth year veterinary students as part of their in practice learning.
Surrey students gain hands on experience within our small animal practice, working alongside our team and taking part in day to day clinical work.
Supporting veterinary education is an important part of our commitment to high clinical standards and the future of the profession.
